在美国超速怎么办？
开车最怕遇到警察叔叔查车，万一不小心超速了，遇到警察该怎么办？
一般碰到警察打开车窗，他会问你：Do you know how fast you were going ? （你知道你刚才跑多快了吗？）
通常他不说罚款多少，会问你最近去什么地方，去干什么。
若你车速只超了限速5%以内（一般警察不太计较），可以说Sir， I did not realize I was going that fast， but I will slow down right now.（警官，我没注意车速，我现在就减速。）99%的警察会让你走。
若超速较多，警察很可能会给你开罚单，他会说Sir， you were going ......mph， and the speed limit here is......Mph， ......Sir you were going......Over the speed limit.（你刚才跑了多少公里，限速是多少，你超速了多少）。他一边说一边写罚单，这时不能瞎侃，安静等他写完。写完后会递给你让你签名，签完字就没事了（一般不让你当场交现金，可以事后到指定地点缴纳罚款）。若不想被罚，可以跟警察叔叔讲清楚，通常也有效。
讲清楚的说辞有：
1、If you pull over to the side of the road to speak to you， Sir I am going to be late for work.(要是您让我靠边停车，警官，那我就上班迟到了，我刚刚失业，刚刚找到这份工作。)
2、If you give me a ticket， I am going to lose my license. My wife and my three kids are counting on me to pay the rent.(若你给我开罚单，我要吊销驾照了，我老婆孩子还得靠我养呢。)
3、You know， sir， if this keep happening， I might end up in jail. (警官，若老这样，我会蹲监狱的）
4、I do not have money today， sir， can you not give me a ticket? (警官，我没带钱，能不能不开罚单啊）
